About his music:

JV released his debut album, Blue Skies, in October 16, 2012.
Blue Skies features songs he's written since he was 16 years old!
He'd love to sing a duet with Jason Mraz or Bruno Mars. (Kababayan LA interview)
"If You Stay" is about a long- distance relationship and about a good friend of his (interview). All written in one day!
He's played guitar on-and-off for seven years. (BlogTV)
Joseph's first YouTube post was a cover song of Shwayze's "Buzzin." (Read the description box. And here is his cover "Buzzin")
He wants to become an international superstar someday. If he couldn't do that he'd be a nurse (interview).

Personal life:

JV is from Los Angeles--Northridge! And likes the Lakers.
He graduated from college- University of California, Irvine (UCI)
He's interested in marine biology (BlogTV)
His favorite Los Angeles Lakers member is Kobe Bryant, but also Lamar Odom because he's left-handed! (This was back in 2010 when Odom was still with the Lakers.)
JV is left-handed but plays guitar right-handed.
Joseph is a Catholic (here's his comment posted on YoutTube original song "Sweet Talk"!).
What Joe's looking for in girls: "be yourself and down-to-earth." (interview)
