I'm always glad to be at the right place at the right time for all things JV-related. There was a "pop-up shop" where JV and his team showed up for a meet-and-greet promoting his Blue Skies CD, so of course I bought a copy and had it autographed! Just gotta support this guy with his music and these amazing musicians on YouTube and Myspace (back in the day).
Surprised to hear how pretty "My Queen" sounds hearing it from the album. THAT is my new favorite song. Crazy how I know all of the songs except for the title and ending tracks. With all the JV shows I've been to I've heard "Heartbreak Girl," "Never Coming Home," and "My Queen" all at two live shows (Luminance & B Here 2010). That means he's been perfecting these songs ever since! As for "S.A.D (Single Awareness Day)," "Bumble Bee," and "If You Stay" those are definitely from the singles playing again and again on my iTunes/iPod. I remember hearing "Bumble Bee" (debut?) on BlogTV and maybe "Set You Free!" (Haha.) "Sweet Talk" I remember from my replays on my YouTube JV Playlist.
