Bought my Blue Skies CD!

I'm always glad to be at the right place at the right time for all things JV-related. There was a "pop-up shop" where JV and his team showed up for a meet-and-greet promoting his Blue Skies CD, so of course I bought a copy and had it autographed! Just gotta support this guy with his music and these amazing musicians on YouTube and Myspace (back in the day).

Surprised to hear how pretty "My Queen" sounds hearing it from the album. THAT is my new favorite song. Crazy how I know all of the songs except for the title and ending tracks. With all the JV shows I've been to I've heard "Heartbreak Girl," "Never Coming Home," and "My Queen" all at two live shows (Luminance & B Here 2010). That means he's been perfecting these songs ever since! As for "S.A.D (Single Awareness Day)," "Bumble Bee," and "If You Stay" those are definitely from the singles playing again and again on my iTunes/iPod. I remember hearing "Bumble Bee" (debut?) on BlogTV and maybe "Set You Free!" (Haha.) "Sweet Talk" I remember from my replays on my YouTube JV Playlist.

It's been two years?!

Two years ago, I was watching the Ellen Degeneres show and JV was there to perform "Replay" (by Iyaz). Absolutely fell in love with JV and his music right then and there! A guy and his guitar. Instantly, I went on YouTube to listen to this guy- this was my very first video when I discovered a certain someone named Joseph Vincent. So proud of him for coming along so far with his debut album Blue Skies to be released soon!

August 29th performance update

JV's show at the Roxy Theatre with opening acts from  Andrew Garcia and Nate Westerfeld  will be the first  stop on his West Coast tour for his debut album, Blue Skies. JV will be going on the Blue Skies Tour in November with Joe Brooks. {This is awesome! Joe Brooks is one of my favorite artists- listening to his music more than 5 years ago.. and he happens to be touring with Joseph Vincent!!}

"When You're in Love" will be JV's next single to be released off the album, so look out for it!
